JASON SYVERSEN

Jason is an entrepreneur, investor and philanthropist with over 25 years of experience in technical and leadership roles. He currently serves as founder and CEO of SportsVisio, a 20-person, venture backed startup using AI and Computer Vision to automatically create analytics and highlights for sports. He’s also managing partner for 10X Venture Partners, an early stage investment group and has made over 42 investments in startups to date. The NH governor nominated him to join the board of the NH Business Finance Authority, which has allocated over $2.5B in investments to spur economic activity in the state and he was confirmed by the Executive Council in May of 2021. He also serves on the board of the National Center on Sexual Exploitation, S8 Impact Foundation and others.

Previously, he served as the founder and CEO of Siege Technologies, a cyber security R&D company developing products and technologies for defense and commercial customers. that he sold in 2016. The year he retired from Siege, they employed 40 people and did over $10M in ARR. He donated the majority of the proceeds to a charitable foundation that fights human trafficking, economic/spiritual poverty, and sexual exploitation.

Before founding Siege, Jason was a PM at the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA). He managed a portfolio of 5 programs for the Strategic Technology Office totaling approximately $100M, with 6 different government transition agencies and numerous other smaller projects. He held a Top Secret/SCI security clearance for over 20 years and worked with all major defense and intelligence agencies (AF/Army/Navy/CIA/NSA/JSOC/SS/etc.) on cyber offensive/defensive security technology/operations.

Jason is the inventor of a malware detection patent and a co-inventor for multiple other granted/pending patents. He has spoken at numerous cyber security/cyber warfare conferences and quoted in media sources like Bloomberg, Consumer Reports, CyberScoop, Ars Technica and others. He cofounded the IEEE SecDev Conference, and published/reviewed papers.
